Leonard Machtinger

Leonard Machtinger is a litigator concentrating on business and entertainment matters. His experience also includes securities, surety, insurance, real property and collection matters. In addition, his corporate work has included securities matters and acquisitions.

Mr. Machtinger worked at the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C., from 1965 through 1967 and thereafter for law firms in New York and Los Angeles. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the City College of New York, he received his BA in 1962, his LL.B from Harvard Law School in 1965 and his LL.M from Georgetown University Law Center in 1967.

He was born New York, N.Y., December 8, 1941. He was admitted to the bars of : New York (1965); District of Columbia (1966) ; California (1975). He was also admitted to various federal courts. He is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association (and formerly served on : Public Affairs Committee, 1976-1978; Superior Courts Committee, 1986-1988).
